Week 14A

Our beginning assignment was to create a logo for the Millersville University English Department in 30 mins!

And also after that I continued to work on my web page project! I added a photo and more content into the sidebar and then extended both the content box and sidebar so all the information would fit. 

Week 13- Outside of Class

Trying to figure out how to overlap, center, and shift the quote on top of the decorative header took a while and after that I played around with the background colors and added a little bit of text in the sidebar.

Week 13B

From last class I only had the outlines of the boxes where my content would be placed but when my teacher and I looked over my files they weren't quite working. So here is the revised files and a better layout for the start of my webpage. The teal box will be moved down so its directly under the decorative header.

Week 13A

From last week I had the html and css linked up but the code wasn't working for me. This week I started to build the frame work for my webpage. Along though it not completely put together it shows a possible start. I tried placing a small pattern for the background but the image only came up small even when repeat was on, so I got a little confused when it came to the background.  Also please ignore the white space going through the boxes, that just the screen shot images not aligning. 

Week 12B

Here is the start of my webpage for Lousie Fili. I have created a decorative header with her name included the only typeface used is Learning curve from dafont.com.

Our next step was to start placing it into .html and .css files but I can't seem to figure out why they aren't link or anything is coming up. I test the link by just saying the heading was a red box and that showed up but I'm guessing my image link isn't working which is why it doesn't show up. 

Week 12A

For our next project we are creating a web page that reflects our designers that we picked. The designer I picked is Lousie Fili and she can be described as everything food, italian and typography. I might change a few things but here is some ideas that I have come up with for possible website layouts.

Not much was due over the weekend but I did register for the Interdisciplinary Interaction Design Conference for November 16 at Millersville University.
